Album Release by Extinct Animals "Future Generations" Making World Peace through Music Experimentation and Performance. Extinct Animals is a trio of hard working San Diegians who banded together in 2008 to release some creative energy while putting meaning behind thought provoking lyrics with an emphasis on global warming, politics and planet extinction. After their 2008 release “War Is Terror” was welcomed they played a handful of shows around San Diego with Musicians like Gurtrudestien and Batwings. Continually meeting they wrote new songs and over a year and a half finished with the six song EP “Future Generations”, 2010. The album features a variety of styles from a little funk and rap on the opening song “I’m Moving On” to the twang of “When the smog rolls by” about our continual pollution of the planet. A couple more aggressive songs round out the mix with “Circus Planet” and “We’re all Slaves” written about the movie “Zeitgeist”. Something for the skate punk and their mom too. The guys have no reason to stop now and have already started on a new batch of songs to get people involved and thinking about why we are here and what we can do to make this a better place. We hope you enjoy the new music and look forward to hearing back from you. Please help us promote a healthy and sustainable environment because our “future generation want what’s theirs”. Extinct Animals “Politically inspired songs of protest you can play in your backyard in a proto-Goth, early-Ministry, Crash Worship kind of way.” Jim Citybeat
